Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is recognised, it is a modular system, that can be done at your pace, depending on your work and family commitments.

Entry Requirements
Those entering this program must be able to demonstrate vocational competency in their proposed teaching and assessing area. Vocational competency is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience, and may include, but is not limited to, holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification.

Friday – Final day, complete all admin required for the completion of the course, and successful participants are issued their Statement of Attainment.
It is a suggested course outline, there is a beak between week 1 and week 2, and a break between week 2 and week 3. This will determined by class size, participants background and education level, this is a competency based course.
As a modular system you can start at any module and you can work at your own pace completing this in your time span, it could take 3 weeks or 6 months to complete. Flexible to your lifestyle.
Payment Plans
For a limited time Cairns Training Facility offers an extended payment plan for TAE40122 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification and we would like to highlight and receive your acceptance of the conditions that surround the plan should you wish to take advantage of it.
The course price is as listed on our website, no discount will apply. In addition, we charge a $200 administration fee.
The schedule of payments is as follows:
Face to Face – at own pace

You pay $750.00 deposit one (1) week before enrolment – this is non-refundable
Third week of the course – you pay another $750.00
Last payment – made 72 hours prior to completion of the course

Full payment of $1950.00 made five (5) days prior to the course starting.

Other payment plans can be made with Cairns Training Facility and a formal contact will be drawn up.
Modules can be RPL at a cost of $300.00 per module.
Default of Payment: Should you default on a due payment then we will provide you with notice of our intention to cancel your enrolment and all money paid will be forfeited. In the event you are issued with such notice, you will be given seven (7) days to the entire remaining balance of your account to maintain your enrolment status. Failure to pay the balance will result in your enrolment being cancelled without further notice.
Assessments submitted prior to a due payment, will be assessed. However, if the feedback has not been provided to you and you have a default on a due payment, you will not be provided with this feedback until the payment has been made.

Flexible ways to study TAE40122
Self Paced

Structure: Self-paced delivery method
Overview: Our Self-Paced delivery is designed for those who need a flexible learning structure. This delivery method is entirely an online, self-managed approach to the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Features: The Self-paced delivery method is completed in your own time, at your own pace and is ideally suited to highly motivated self-starters who have some industry knowledge and experience. We provide our Learners support throughout the learning-pathway via, support videos, telephone, email. See below for further details on how Cairns Training Facility supports its learners.
Additionally, all learners have access to complimentary presentation days which help learners complete tasks which require group facilitation.
Critical Information on Presentations: A significant change in the new TAE40122 is the requirement to facilitate five (5) delivery session in a face-face environment. What this means is that the participants in your session MUST be in the same room as you. These sessions CANNOT be delivered in an online/virtual platform.
To deliver these face-to-face sessions, you will need access to a minimum of five (5) people who can participate as your learners for these sessions.
- Four (4) people are required for the three (3) group delivery sessions
- One (1) person for the two (2) individual sessions
If you are enrolling in the Self-Paced modes of delivery, then you have two (2) choices.
- Attend the presentation days held during CLUSTER 2 week.
- Record each of the sessions and send the link/s to Cairns Training Facility so they can be observed and assessed by an Cairns Training Facility assessor.
Blended Delivery

Attendance Method: Virtual Classroom or Physically in Class
Structure: 3, individual 5-day workshops
Overview: Our Blended Delivery method is Cairns Training Facility most comprehensive way to complete the TAE40122 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This delivery method offers an approach consisting of 3 by 5 days workshops. Learners are then required to continue their learning and complete their assessment tasks in their own time and at their own pace.
You have 2 choices to attend the 15 day delivery;
- face to face in the training room at a Cairns Training Facility venue, or
- through our online virtual classroom from the comfort of your own home or office
Features: Our Blended Delivery method is Cairns Training Facility most comprehensive way to complete the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This delivery method offers an approach consisting of 3 by 5 days workshops. Learners are then required to continue their learning and complete their assessment tasks in their own time and at their own pace.
The workshops are separated into three (3) weeks; Cluster 1, Cluster 2 & Cluster 3. These workshops can be attended in consecutive weeks or spread over a period of time suited to your needs. During the workshop, learners are introduced to the elements of each unit and provided the opportunity for skill development and practice through group learning activities and completion of selected practical assessment tasks. You will also be involved in role-plays and the commencement of small group and/or individual learning activities under the support, guidance and supervision of a qualified and experienced TAE trainer.
This delivery method also includes a self-paced component. Upon completion of the workshops you will be required to complete the remaining practical work and the knowledge questions workbook.
How can you attend our workshops?
Cluster 1 and 3 may be attend either face-to-face or through the virtual classroom.
Cluster 2 may be attend face-to-face. Please note – tasks undertaken in Cluster 2 require face-to-face (live) facilitation of training to a minimum of four (4) adult learners.
